I just love hunting for vintage items I can recycle into something creative. I had some vintage kitchen items that I wanted to turn into something creative and I came up with these adorable candle holders. They are so simple to make and can be used anywhere in your home.
Materials I Used
- There are so many different pieces you could use so let your imagination run wild and use what you like. I used some vintage tart pans, a Jell-O/pudding mold, pie servers, and a spoon.
- Taper candle cup
- Gorilla clear grip adhesive
- Hot glue gun and glue stick
- Hammer

To assemble your candle holder you will need to bend the handle of the spoon or pie server upwards, you can easily do this with your hands. Place it onto your candle base to see if it lies flat enough. I had to hammer my spoon a little so it would lie flatter and adheres to the base.

Apply gorilla clear grip adhesive to the candle base, leaving a small area to add some hot glue. I use the hot glue just to hold the second piece in place until the adhesive sets. Attach your spoon or pie server to the base.

Next, apply the adhesive to the bottom of the candle cup leaving a small area for hot glue. Attach the candle cup to the center of your spoon or pie server.

Your candle holder is now finished. Wait about an hour before adding your candle. You can also add a candle ring if your holder is larger. These are so simple to make right! The smallest one I made uses a sugar spoon, which I am displaying on my tiered tray. I would love to hear from you on what you used to make your candle holder.
